About Us
Dogs deserve a good treat
Our Story
We come from a baking background. We spent years baking for just people. Then we started to bake treats for our Australian Cattle Dog, Indiana. Australian Cattle Dogs are also known as Blue Heelers and that's where our name comes from. Those early treats were handmade, extra crunchy and built from ingredients Indy enjoyed.
Indy has been gone more than fifteen years now, but he's one of the reasons we do this. Every treat we bake keep his memory alive.
In 2017 we brought home an English Lab named Blossom. She had some sensitivities to processed food ingredients, so we started researching healthier options. Blossom pushed us to think harder about what should be in a dog treat. A treat could be healthy and delicious.
Our current in-house taste tester and furry family member is a Golden Retriever named Roux.
How We Bake Now
At Bluedog Barkery, we research every ingredient, question why it belongs and keep refining how we bake. Treats are better and our standards never changed: simple ingredients, hand crafted for your good dog.
Where 10% Goes
We donate 10% of every purchase to Assistance Dogs of Hawaii (ADH). ADH provides children and adults with disabilities professionally trained assistance dogs, with a primary focus on individuals with limited mobility, along with hospital and courthouse facility dogs. The dogs and lifetime follow-up support are provided completely free of charge.

We carefully select every ingredient to ensure nothing unnecessary is added, so you can trust your pup is enjoying wholesome, tasty treats.
There’s no room for sweeteners, fillers, strange additives or artificial flavors just pure, tail-wagging deliciousness in every bite.
Working to build Grain Free treats
We've added grain free treats to our menu. Grain free means made without wheat, corn, or soy, and without any flour milled from grain.
Grain free treats can be a good option for dogs prone to digestive issues or food sensitivities.
Corn and soy are common fillers in commercial treats. Soy is a relatively common and can be hard for some pets to digest, so we've left them out entirely.
Our grain free treats contain chickpea flour instead of flours made from grain.
